Its been 13 Years since I was last here in the UK. I arrived early on what looked like a great August summers daySo I thought. Although the sun was out it was pretty cold. Loads of people where out cycling and running even though it was a week day.

This is where I hail from. It was the Sunday of a reasonably sunny Bank Holiday Weekend. A slow day at the discount store where I work ,as it was not busy at all. One of the best things I have loved about myself was the ability to bring a smile to anyone who had welcomed me with the same. This attribute might have more.

We had a few easy days after all our travelling, to recover from the jet lag and I am feeling good on the water again. The course is really incredible and a hype of activity at the moment, with the rowing events and slalom events already taking place.
