And realized that, although much of the trip was similar, this year was new and different in many ways. Which makes it all worth it in the end. Monday, June 29, 2009. Below is a look at the restoration process. We cut out the old built-in fiberglass fuel tank. The new aluminum tank was custom fabricated in Florida and shipped to us. This is the aft end of the new fuel tank. Bobby Gehlken of G-Crafts Marine did the installation. The console was test fitted to the hull.
