Posiblemente esta noche muera, y quizá nadie me recuerde con el entusiasmo que yo quisiera. Quizá fue muy aventurado pensarme indispensable, pensar que alguien me extrañaría y que tendría en el hospital cinco amigos y un amor que me consuele del dolor. Pero la cosa fue diferente, nadie sintió dolor, nadie lloró mi tumba ni nadie juro al cielo alimentar a mi pobre, obeso e indefenso gato.
