Foam is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. So I got an egg crate bed topper on sale instead. I was worried it wouldnt be thick enough for the tufting but I got a heavier batting which made up for it. I just used hot glue to hold it in place before I added the batting. Next I added my buttons. I love how it turned out! I love t.
