Sunday, October 14, 2012. Om drie uur rijden we naar IJmuiden om daar in te schepen naar Newcastle. De overtocht verloopt onder rustige omstandigheden. Het eerste stuk prachtig weer maar naarmate we verder uit de Nederlandse kust varen neemt de bewolking toe en begint het te regenen. We hebben aan boord een kleine hut achter in het schip. Het is lawaaierig door de motoren en ik slaap dan ook erg onrustig. Temp 14 - 15 graden. De een heeft meer mo.
Van Utrecht naar Muiden dag 4. Van Mijnden naar Utrecht kan ik beter schrijven. Ik moet me en beetje vermannen om deze trip niet te zien als rap naar huis, want dan is 18 km toch nog wel een eindje. Toen ik de rits van de tent opentrok was ik getuige van de zonsopkomst. Mooi! Een uur later, half 12, zat ik bij Slangevecht aan een prachtig kopje koffie verkeerd met heerlijk appelgebak dat ik deelde met een stuk of wat wespen. Van Utrecht naar Muiden dag 3.

Vi havde en fin tur fra Elvighøj og ind i Kolding Fjord, hvor billedet er fra. Årets Efterårstræf i Havkajakroerne var på Fanø med endnu en blæsende weekend. 5 havkajakroere fra Fanø Roklub havde arrangeret et fint træf ved lystbådehavnen i Nordby. Tur i det Sydfynske Øhav.
