Sculpting a Life with passion, joy and creativity. Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Today, I started a new blog. Why? Well, when I started this blog almost 5 years ago, the blogs were very different. When I started here, the blog choices were very limited. I had only a few templates to choose from, limited picture space and loading. And as my blog grew, I really outgrew the name.
Monday, December 8, 2014. Brought artists, designers, and garden lovers from all over the world to her digital salon, Paradis Express. She dazzled us all with beautiful images and ideas.
Friday, August 14, 2015. Weird and Wonderful Makes Great Art. Our 2015 Washington County Open Studios Tour artists are a diverse group of creative minds. Both Amanda Houston, pastel artist and Susan Gallacher-Turner, ceramic artist are using copper in creative ways in their work.

Filling in the dirt and landscaping around the completed plinth. The Bean Pods are installed. This completes the process that was begun in October 2009 and took 8 months to complete from beginning the commission to installation. Engineering biology in the light of evolution. Evolved systems are very different from technologies designed by humans. At the same time, harnessing and directing evolution. Generate useful organisms and biomolecules that we could never have rationally designed. By working to understand why systems evolve in the ways that they do, we are learning to sculpt the evolutionary process.
