Recently I actually got round to doing something about it. I dug down about 25cm and dug out a metre square. Then dug right back to the fence as well. Behind that I stuck in a couple of half paving slabs left behind by the previous owners. Then I filled back up to ground level with some of my dug out earth. Then laid it over my patch. Out the front the tre.
