2009MOTOR MIKE GOES TO LAKE METIGOSHE, NORTH DAKOTA. Sunday, July 12, 2009. I rode a total of 2572 miles in 7 days, and was in 4 states and 1 other country. The weather was great other than the temperature extremes, but still a VERY pleasurable ride. JUST WAITING FOR IT TO WARM UP.
2009MOTOR MIKE GOES TO GOLD POINT, NEVADA. Monday, May 4, 2009. We made it home today, riding in from Dalhart, Texas. I should never had said anything about the weather being great yesterday, because today was just the opposite. Shortly after leaving Dalhart it started to rain. The farther north we rode the harder it came down. It lasted about 50-75 miles, then started tapering off. Just north of Liberal Kansas it stopped and we had dry pavement once again. Thanks to everyone that followed my Blog.

On day 2 I rode to Birmingham, Alabama to the Barber Museum, then on to Gadsden, Al., for a total of 488 miles. One hundred of these miles I was lost! Day 3 I rode to Dawsonville, GA., then on to Franklin, NC. for a total of 285 miles. Hope to see all of you next year, at one of the Thumper Cafes.CONTENT
