We will be exploring many topics this year including topics related to job skills and focusing on our theme of the United States. We will be preparing to enter the workforce and we are making sure we are prepared.

We had an excellent time celebrating the holidays together at school! I am so thankful for my students. Our trip to the horse farm this fall was by far one of our favorites. Friday, February 8, 2013. The students did a wonderful job matching sentences to groundhog pictures. After they completed this assignment the students had fun making a groundhog treat. They were excited to make snow dough, categorize wants and needs, and visit with Santa. Friday, November 30, 2012. The class participated in the Halloween Parade and had lots of fun at our Ha.
Our program is designed to teach everyday life skills and job training. Everyday the students learn skills related to a job environment. They also implement these skills in our Student Store and during our Community Based Instruction. Our students are building confidence and self-esteem. The future is bright for them, to one day be productive citizens in their communities.
