Saturday, March 15, 2014. Back in December, I told you all about my new Super Improver Wall. I made my sticker books with cardstock covers and backs, and white paper in the middle. I put 2 staples on the side to bind them. When they collect 10 stickers on one level, they tell me. I count them, put a stamp on the page, and trade out their little person on our Super Improver Wall for the next co.
Sunday, January 6, 2013. I have started using Practice cards. My students know our 5 class rules. Inside out and when or if. They misbehave they know exactly which rule they broke and so does everyone else. Whole Brain Teaching creates a fun and positive. Atmosphere so when a rule is broken it is approached as if the student simply needs more practice with that specific rule. They would never purposely break a rule to be malicious.
