The Scrag Copse Diary records the goings on in a small private woodland managed for wildlife. Cold, salty air assaulting the lips. North Sea sprays over as it rises and dips. Why are we here, not home instead? Yell the six hundred cheering the boys in dark red. The North Sea crashing over, the small pointless stand. Salvation appears, to warm up the hands.
