Sunday, January 12, 2014. 10 things from this past week. I said I needed to blog more so here goes. 3 Was invited by a different friend to an area wide Prayer Retreat on Saturday morning. I was convicted that I should probably incorporate more silence and solitude into my life as well .
RoadTrip Homeward - Houston to Portland. Mainly because it was a lot to process and a lot going on too. The second week of July Mike came home to tell me that he had been laid off. We drove through 12 hours of desert between Oklahoma City and Grants, Arizona.
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Creamy potato soup with cheddar and smoked salmon. I am a child of the King, wife to Scott, mother to three precious blessings, homemaker, music therapist, music birth doula, cook, craft artist, and more.

Thursday, March 19, 2015. I want to take a minute and just talk about Dallin. Sometime he gets pushed aside in my life, but I am in love with this little boy. He sits aside a lot and just watches people and thinks about things. I think this is why he is starting to seem so much older. Everyone is always shocked when I comment that is just barely 18 months this week.

Something new in the sketchbook everyday. Friday, July 26, 2013. Something that I do rarely is drawing from life in my sketchbook. Often they are doodles of ideas straight from the imagination. There is a sense of urgency in drawing from life. The artist must decide, rather quickly, what needs to be shown and what to discard.
