She is commenting on the Saddam trial and the many pratfalls of all of the parties concerned. She was generally very approving of the trial, until she found out that the pertinant information related to Saddam in his indictment was not handwritten. I fully applaud these reforms.

Sunday, December 9, 2007. My first memory is of darkness. I know not if that is frightening. To most it may very well be, but to me it is merely home. I was born into darkness from darkness. But my home shattered and I was thrown into light, blinding white light. I do not remember his look, the eyes, the lips, the face are all forgotten. It was his voice that made me turn my head, made me reach out my hands to him. To give my first attempt at speech. And another figure I would never forget.
