I live in Cumbria and live close to the northern Lakes, Keswick being a half hour drive for me. My fitness regime for the last 12 years has been walking the Cumbrian fells with great regularity. It is my intention through this blog to record some of these walks and fill in on some local history that is unknown to others who visit, so it may enhance their experience of the lakes if they read this and visit the area.
