Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Second new record to Singapore for my project! The Clear Winged Forest Glory, Vestalis gracilis. Found in Mandai Track 16 stream during one of our surveys. When my dad saw this he originally thought it was the Vestalis amoena or amethystina, both rather commonly found in Singapore forests. So he got a photo to do the identification at home. A blog on Travel and Photography. EOS World Photo of the Year 2013. I am glad to know that this photo of mine was selected and nominated as EOS World Photo of the Year 2013. Step into the light! This image was taken at Dongchuan Red Land in Yunnan, China. It is famous for its red and amber coloured soil. I was fortunate to capture this dramatic view of the sun rays hitting the terraced plantation, one of my favourite landscape photography images.
