Posted on August 13, 2015. I got the name of this quilt,. I love to visit old, tranquil abbey ruins. The khaki and brown seemed like perfect symbols for something old and hard-wearing. I used the same set of fabrics for the letters, the shashing and the borders. Only the binding is done with a different brown fabric. Shop I also have the set available on Craftsy. Thank you so much! Tuesday, 6 December 2016. Finished knitted patchwork cushion and jumper project. The cushion is now backed with a matching green material and a knitted border. My next project is a new jumper. Another week somewhat similar to the last one with daily zaps of radiation treatments for my husband, daily strolls around the city, some drives to surrounding towns and a week where a gal has just gotta sew. At the moment my husband is having his daily snooze whilst I sit here effusing about my latest tarted up jacket. Did I say I am not a fan of the colour brown?
