Originally an embroiderer, I now work with whatever materials seem appropriate. Drawing is fundamental but may be achieved through wrapping, mono-print and stitch as well as charcoal and ink. Issues of frailty and resilience intrigue me often developed through landscape, plant growth and collected objects.
This site was created in honor of our sweet angel, Sarah. Sarah graduated with honors in June of 2006 and was killed less than a month later on July 12th. She was on her way to work and it was raining when she lost control of her car and it slammed side-ways into a tree, she was less than a mile from her home. The ambulance responded immediately, but there was nothing they could do. We may never understand how God chooses his angels.
