Tuesday, February 14, 2012. We made it to Kodaikanal by 12 noon, checked in to Greenland Youth Hostel which offers great panoramic views of the Plains of Theni and sheer drop of Kodaikanal Ranges. We planned to drop into the Observatory, but since it was Wednesday, it was closed! It was a sad start. We progressed further en route stopping at Pine Tree valley.
