Sunday, May 31, 2015. Ari Passes the Swim Test. This is one of the milestones that I never really thought much about until it happened. Ari passed his swim test today and is able to be in the pool without me as well as go off the diving board and down the water slide. That kid was so damn proud of himself.

Sunday, January 25, 2015. Mia - Seven Years Old. Happy 7th birthday Mia! This has been a fun year to watch you grow and develop! You started your birthday weekend with a treat at school with your classmates. We made chocolate covered strawberries to share, and the kids treated them like a science experiment, testing if the white or dark chocolate tasted better, peeling the chocolate away from the berries to see what pattern they made, etc. I think it took you 30 minutes to eat two strawberries.

Friday, January 2, 2015. The New Land for moi! On my fourth month on this COLD-FREEZING-MUCHOFRIO land, on the second day of the year, everything seems to go back to normal. I woke up at a semi-reasonable hour, because today is when the cleaning people come to our house to make everything look and seem clean, which at this point and after almost 11 years of drama, I am content with. None of the three are on my control. Well, at least not entirely.
