I can be witty. Monday, May 17, 2010. I am sort of at a loss for words on reflecting on this graphic novel. Im not really a huge fan of graphic novels in the first place. Theyve never really been my style. Not to say I hate comics by any means I regularly read FoxTrot and Zits, and Calvin and Hobbes were wonderful while growing up. I also know entirely too much about DC and Marvel comics, courtesy of an older brother. I felt that Skim was kind of Zits meets The Bell Jar. Teenage angst and suicide.

Tuesday, May 25, 2010. In the beginning, I was very interested, and enjoyed reading it. However, once it started really jumping around, and sort of rambling on about her father, I lost interest. I skipped around, trying to find where the story picked up again. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. However, for the purposes of our class, I enjoyed it. It was a nice change from standard books.
