Tuesday, January 01, 2013. This is my last finish of 2012. Sergei by Plum Street Samplers. This is my first finish 2013. Emma Mills 1839 by The Scarlett House. I enjoyed stitch both of these samplers. The designers are some of my very favorite. I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday Season. Sunday, July 22, 2012. Monday, April 24, 2017. IS ANYBODY STILL OUT THERE? Monday, March 2, 2015. Winter has not brought us as much snow as last year, however, the winds, bitter cold and more recently the ice, have not been pleasant. Despite being frozen, it is still so beautiful! Spring has to be around the corner, right! So, what have we been doing? We had a wonderful visit from my niece. The youngest did some climbing. We even had some moments where the boys were actually getting along. The doorknob on the piano is from ano.

Monday, February 5, 2018. A Variation on Alphabet Blocks, The Whole Kit and Caboodle. For sharing her gorgeous version of Alphabet Blocks! Notice the W for Whippet; she breeds them and currently has a litter of 6! Kay moved the willow and reptile to the bottom corners, and added a rabbit. She also decided to go without a border leaving a little extra linen between the sampler and this beautiful frame that she found at a consignment shop. Very creative! Thank you for sharing this! .

Friday, February 14, 2014. From My Needle - End of 2013 and Start of 2014. First to share my stitching finishes from the end of 2013. The first ones are small needlepoint kits I purchased at the Cross Stitch Pals Retreat at Myrtle Beach this past October. The kits are from Foxwood Crossings. She was one of the many wonderful designers attending the Pals Retreat at Myrtle Beach. Completed on November 29, 2013.

Monday, July 20, 2015. A finish and a bit of weaving. I mentioned in my last post that I was very close to finishing a project a started years ago. here it is! It is One Nation by ByGone Stitches. I needed to finish this because I had scheduled a four week beginning weaving class with the Weavers Guild of Minnesota. That class is now complete and I can show you what I accomplished. And the piece is a little wonky. I decided to not correct my mistakes but to leave them in.

Friday, March 23, 2018. I worked on the last two pieces of the Kindred Spirits class project. I stitched the Scissor Case yesterday, I hate rouching, hate it with the kind of ribbon that was in the kit, I did get it done not exactly my best work but it looks okay. I finished the back of the ruler case and stitched the back to the front, I have ordered the ruler and two thread keepers from Ellen Chester of With My Needle, I hope they come soon.
