Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Aint No Party Like a Tongo Party. The school in Tongo is finally finished, and we had a big party to celebrate. It was also the last time we would go to Tongo, and I must say we went out with a bang. We rented a van to transport all the volunteers in the region, and rode down the bumpy dirt road in good spirits. Mary and kyle make a grand entrance. The speech was well received.
Monday, February 28, 2011. As you can imagine, neither of these documentaries do much to create a mood of happiness and joy. Rather, they are much the opposite, and present a message of how ridiculous and terrible humanity can be sometimes. It got me to thinking about my present situation and the world in general. 10 měsíců na Aljašce a tentokrát na hranici Indiany, Michiganu a Illinois. Úplně jsem to tu zanedbala, jsem hrozný člověk. Poslední článek je z 29. ledna a od té doby se toho stalo hodně.
