Dan toch nog een kerstplaatje, vond ik wel erg mooi. Gewoon een huis in Cottage Street. Deze had behalve lichtjes ook allerlei sneeuwpoppen en rendieren en dat soort ongein in de tuin. Gebruikelijk is lichtslingers, langs de veranda zoals hier maar ook langs de ramen, in bomen en struiken, en langs de dakrand. Zo na afloop vraag je je dan af, was het nu eigenlijk goed, deze sabbatical? En daar ga ik het bij.
