Friday, 14 August 2015. We flew here just over a week ago with Singapore Airlines. Had great seats and they plied us with food and drinks continually so no complaints. At church on Sunday Doug was introduced to a former head of the Air Force who described how they train and just how close they are to each other. Wing tip to wing tip is only 2 metres. On Sunday afternoon we watched the official celebration on television. Today we have travelled by fast ferry to Bintan Island off Sumatra and will be here.CONTENT

My cousin, Joel, son of my Uncle John to whom this blog is dedicated passed away in Brighton, England a few days ago. Thoughts are with the rest of the family in Brighton.
