The lovely people at Architecture for Everyone asked me to come back for a second year of the Sheffield leg of their project. This year I worked with the young people to again create a visual brief but this time the end result was a wearable installation discussing what is important in designing urban green spaces. We photographed the installation at Park Hill flats in the rain in February 2011.
NEW WEBSITE COMING APRIL 2014 www. A visual artist who focuses on traditional handmade textiles techniques such as knitting, crochet, embroidery and appliqué. Colour is intrinsic to everything I do. The form of my work is constantly varied but often involves intervention and installation. I am interested in street art, displaying work in a non gallery setting, adding artwork to the urban environment to engage the public and create joy; catching people off guard and making them smile.

Dens with a Difference, June 2009. In June 2009 I was lead artist on the Dens with a Difference project for Art in the Park. The inside of the den became a wish tree of ideas, pictures, experiences and stories. Every participant left a message. Lots of people explored the den and there was .
