This is the journal I kept when I was training to run the 2010 Boston Marathon. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing about my run from Hopkinton to Boston. Crikey- Steve Irwin is DEAD MAN. In the heart by a stingray. Apparently he pissed it off and the animal stuck its barb tail right through his heart. Tragic, especially considering that he had a wife, two kids, and a sucessful conservation program. Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My.

Running gives me plenty of time to think. The coherent thoughts make their way here. Monday, July 4, 2011. As a kid, I remember hearing about Len Bias. Sunday, July 3, 2011. Long story short, I have a flight to Chicago that I may or may not use. They drew blood to check for vitamin D deficiency.
