Ruby in the garden

August 4, 2012. 2011 was a disappointing year for peppers here. Oh sure we enjoyed the 4 peppers we got but with over 20 plants, you can see the year wasnt a pepper success. 2012 has been spectacular. We are growing 2 varieties. We are freezing some and I get to eat peppers daily. Yum! Are a wonderful treat sauteed and topped with a hint of coarse sea salt. August 28, 2011. Take some, weve got plenty. The raspberries did quite well and are delicious. We also have a good supply of potatoes, zucchini.

Welcome to My Garden

Monday, March 16, 2015. Excited to start gardening again! Looking forward to a great growing season for all of us. Sunday, May 04, 2014. Feels good to be planting! It is still too early to plant much - but after a full week of rain it was nice to be able to get out in the garden and plant something. I only planted 3 things - but all 3 can take a little cold.

Ramblings along the road of life. Gosh, it has been a LONG time since I posted on here. Life gets crazy I guess. I get lazy I guess. Plus, I discovered Peggle. Started out painting the ceiling in living, dining, kitchen and entry. Possibly the least favorite part of the whole thing. Then tearing out all the old cabinets. Only two and a half months .

Ruby in the kitchen

Sunday, August 5, 2012. I have found all kinds of gluten-free substitutes that I really enjoy. I am in search of a bread recipe as good as the high priced store bought ones. I gave this recipe a try recently and it is good- Paleo Bread.
