We learnt about New Zealand and the athletes that competed for us. We learnt a wee bit about Wales and how many medals they won. We learnt what sports they play at the Games, and we learnt about what countries are part of the Commonwealth.
In week 3 The Champion Kids ran the Rowandale School Assembly. We had lots of fun creating our dance and working together to make our item amazing! Here is a video of our performance. Following Instructions to make pikelets- yummy yummy. We were lucky enough to join the Smart Seahorses on Friday to make some pikelets. Check out our amazing pikelets! Everyone got a turn using the whisk. We were learning to follow the recipe and measure ingredients. Do we need to add more? Helen and Cha.

We are a Year 2 class from Rowandale School in Auckland. Come join us on our learning journey. Sunday, 2 November 2014. Last Friday we had our class assembly with the Mighty Minions.
