At around the same time as being at the Devon Show, I found myself warmly welcomed by both Exeter Enterprise and Babbacombe and St Marychurch at their Presidents Nights. The meal was followed by a comedian who was able to elicit a laugh from even the most sombre, and sent us all home smiling. In the evening we presented to the Lipa West and Metro Lipa Rotary clubs. It was great that after our talk there followed a question and answer session about our jobs, our home lives, and our thoughts on the Philippines. Afterwards, instead of the usual videoke with a machine we were treated to a live band! After an excellent lunch we visited the SPED school to see a presentation by some of the pupils. It was amazing to see that even with limited resources a wide ran.
