From barrier reefs to tropical rain forests, students explore the many diverse ecosystems of Belize while developing a deeper connection to the beauty of the natural world. They work with village elders in community restoration, assist at a local school library and learn mapping and surveying.
Students began their journey in Casablanca, visiting markets and photographing snake charmers, magicians, acrobats and dancers. They developed media workshops for underprivileged children in the area. They documented their experiences through personal visual essays. Just so all of you followers who are now knee de. In this course students are involved in volunteer projects in local pre-schools, as well as primary and secondary schools. Students assist in improving and building educational facilities in the community. Towards the end of the trip students spend two days at the Mikumi game drive.
