For one, she is thirty-two and would surely lose a competition to her beautiful, younger sister. Secondly, Laird Sutherland is a well-reputed rake, and she holds no desire to wed another faithless man. And thirdly, the sight of him makes her tingle, shiver and ache.

These are some Valentines Day cookies that I made for an event in my town. They are sugar cookies with tinted glaze, sugar, and nonpareils. Very simple, but I love how they turned out. I think Valentines cookies might be my favorite cookies to make. I am a sucker for all the pink and red.
