Saturday, October 3, 2009. October 3rd - last post. Well folks, after 128 days, 12,202 miles, and 1146 gallons of fuel our Alaskan trip has come to an end. It has been a great trip. One we will enjoy for many months to come and one we may do again some day but there are a lot of other places in to see in the great United States. Take care and keep the loops open. The end of our latest journey came to an end on November the 18th when we arrived back in Grand Rapids at the Woodchip Campground. it was a wild one! Our stay in Arlington was great as we were once again able to renew some old acquaintances while being fed by some pretty great cooks! We also .

Friday, March 14, 2008. Week 4 - Day 5 At the Ranch. My last day was spent roping in the early morning and watching a DVD called the Californios. Which shows the highlights of the past 7 years of a Ranch Roping contest held in California. It is truly amazing what these cowboys can do with a loop. Saturday, September 4, 2010. July 4th - July 6th. We spent the last several days in Dawson City. What a unique town of about 1900 permanent residents. The roads are still gravel, the sidewalks are made of wood, and the taps in your house must be left running in the winter or they will freeze.
