Room 3 Macandrew Bay School

Tuesday, August 25, 2009. A day at the Marae. Today Room 3 and the rest of Macandrew Bay School went on a special day out to the Otakou Marae. We were welcomed onto the Marae by the Mua Upoko and mana whenua. Everyone went inside the wharenui for our welcome then after morning tea, we divided into groups for a variety of activities. These included story telling, flax weaving, learning some action songs and planting our koha of two trees. Room 3 Macandrew Bay School.
