NZ Sign Language for Kura Kids. Saturday, March 26, 2011. Signing consists of using your hands, body and facial expression to communicate. NZSL is a two-handed method of signing. It is important to be able to see each others face and hands when signing. When signing we have a dominant hand, it will probably be the same hand that you write with. If you are left handed you will use this hand to form single hand signs and that hand will do more work.

Thursday, October 6, 2011. Room 1 really enjoyed the trip to Orokonui Ecosanctury. We had loads of fun learning about all the different kinds of trees, birds, insects and animals with the friendly guides. We found out lots of interesting new facts about life within the ecosanctury.
