Welcome to Room 25! This year, term one has been a very exciting and out going term filled with learning and madness and of course, lots of fun. In literacy this term our class was put into 3 groups; Jaguars, Cougars and Panthers. The Cougars reading group looked at the reading comprehension strategy of inferring. That is when they find information which is not directly stated in the text by using key words, key ideas and prior knowledge. I had a black cat call.
Tuesday, 18 August 2015. We have been learning about some of the elements of dance and drama. Here are a few action shots of the class dance we choreographed by creating a beat together and everyone expressing themselves in their own movements. Wednesday, 8 July 2015. Sunday, 31 May 2015. Totara Team - Trolley Derby. Trolley Derby - Rimu Team. This term, Rimu team put forward a number of names to be drivers, designers, marshalls, builders and cheerleaders for the Trolley Derby held at lunchtime. It took alot of effort for the builders. Kahn in Room 15 to put the trolley together. Then the design team, Tea and Jess together with other students from Rimu Team classes decorated the trolley. We received the BEST artwork award for this!
