Wednesday, 13 April 2011. Our Photo Story - Water for Life. Each child from the class had to write a caption for a photo that was taken at the Trout Hatchery. These were then published and stapled to our wall in the classroom. We then decided to record our voices on Photo Story so that the parents could hear how fantastic their children are at reading and speaking. Room 14 Waipahihi School. Thursday, 24 March 2011. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. This term we have been experimenting with different medium. First we designed a sporting icon. Then we had the challenge. Of making a cardboard image. This process took some weeks of perseverance. A good quality relating to challenges. The children were pleased with their results. Monday, September 17, 2012. Last week we looked at some famous New Zealanders. They have faced and overcome.
Tuesday, September 15, 2009. We have been learning to look carefully at the pictures in books and to read and follow instructions. Can you think of when you might use these techniques to make plants and animals? Constructing and describing 2D and 3D shapes in Geometry. We read a really interesting book about x-rays.

Well room 14, what an incredible year we have all experienced. Earthquakes, snow, lots of time off school and many of you coming and going all year.
