Today was the first day for our all new Art Club. Art club runs every Friday in room 14. At the moment it is for year 6. Art club is for all children who LOVE. Visual arts and who want to further their skills. Today we focused on still life sketching. Working on following the lines of an object and keeping our eye on it instead of imaging what we want it to look like. Friday, 20 July 2012.

Thursday, 11 March 2010. Thursday, 20 November 2008. We split the class in two. One group searched google images for photos of Tonga and saved them into a special folder. Group Two imported these photos into Kidspix, added their own drawing on top of the photo and recorded their thoughts on what they had learnt as they had studied Tonga. Blair from More FM came in to Room 14 today. He asked us lots of questions and recorded our answers. It was quite funny and sometimes a bit silly! We will on the radio all of next week at 3. It is important because it would be sad for people to miss out on Christmas. We care about other people.
