Wednesday, September 8, 2010. That could only mean one thing. I jumped out of bed and ran to the stairs, and there in front of my eyes was. a zombie! It did not seem to see me for its eyes were nothing but black holes. Black holes on the face of bandages and green-looking slime. The zomblie had come for me. Thursday, August 12, 2010. It looked like a cave and with all this water around me it looked impossible to surf. From a hole in the water I could see everyone playing in the water. I love going to the beach but I hate the smell.
Grey dark days like lightning in the sky. No leaves on the trees. The town is getting darker. The gleaming sunrise on a summer morning. The bright tint of a high-visibility vest. The scaly skin of a large peculiar fish. The plumb circular juiciness of citrus. The big fuzzy ball of fluff called Garfield. The glowing sun in summer. The bright sunset in Africa.
Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Thursday, November 15, 2012. Wow, we had an amazing experience today. A partial eclipse of the sun. Mr potter brought a huge home made pinhole camera and Mrs Arkless had her special glasses to look through.
We are a class of Year 5 and 6 students at Botany Downs Primary, Howick, Auckland, New Zealand. Howick is a well established suburb in South East Auckland. We have lots of clubs and activities at our disposal. Howick is an exciting place for a child to grow up in. This year New Zealand in hosting the Rugby World Cup and many games are going to played in the Auckland area. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. That was a great adventure.
