Making a connection using the Lidgren networking library in Unity3d proved a bit more involved than I anticipated. My first challenge was to set up a proper multiplayer debug environment. I decided I would go the route of starting an instance of the game using the Build and Run command and then to start the second instance through the editor. To make this work you have to enable the Run in Backg.

Welcome to the Dungeondweller homepage for roguelike development and my own roguelike hobby projects. This site is intended as an entrypoint for anyone interested in the development of roguelike games. Much of the content on this site has been moved to the community project and sister site RogueBasin.
The 2015 International Roguelike Developer Conferences are all done! John Harris wrote an overview. Of the US IRDC, and Darren Grey did likewise. Videos of the US IRDC are also available. And episodes of Roguelike Radio were recorded for both the US. It poses an interesting contrast to Kristine Kathryn Rusch.
