As we approached the front porch of this turn of the century home all of the colorful pretty baskets instantly caught our eye. This shop has a huge selection African baskets and totes. My mom purchased one and on the drive home I was really regretting not getting one too.

Friday, 14 March 2014. Back from over a month away from the UK on a New Zealand holiday and the first chance I have had since returning last Sunday to actually do a little birding. On the other hand, there was no shortage of water with all the ponds looking decidedly full. And a pair of Avocet.
A review of three weeks birding based in Orlando, Florida, USA from 16 February to 9 March 2009. Friday, 13 March 2009. Wonderful birds at wonderful sites. One week to get acclimatised, enjoy the sun and pool plus unwind after the awful weather in both Spain and the UK and then it was off to Daytona Beach. But first, what to see and where to go?
