I have run the Brooklyn Half Marathon once before. It was 2011, and I had just started training for my first marathon. I was in the best shape of my life. I was fast, fit, strong, and confident. The Brooklyn Half Marathon that year was in no way a goal race. And was working toward 26. I wanted a strong race with a proud finish. Imagine my annoyance and pissed of.

The weather is miserable here. It is pouring out and we are supposed to have crazy winds. I think I may need to hold off on grocery shopping. We finally celebrated Christmas with my family and we pulled out all the stops. We used gluten free pasta too. I am loving these breastfeeding bars from Freida Pantry.
