Monday, July 20, 2015. The Boyd We Knew. This past week my father-in-law unexpectedly passed away. On Saturday I spoke at his memorial service. I have been asked by several people who were unable to come to the service to post what I wrote. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. I am incredibly.
