Room 1, Harewood School, 2014. Friday, 31 October 2014. Today our Room 7 friends came to help us with our learning about change, loss and grief. We shared our ideas about changes we have had in our lives and how with cope when things are hard, or go wrong. After we had finished, we listened to some fables read by the awesome kids in Room 7. We had such a fun day today making our comfort soup for our buddies! We thought the soup might taste spicy.
Thursday, 10 March 2016. Monday, 29 February 2016. Today we are going to cook our corn. We planted the corn in our garden. We knew it was ready because the beard on it was dark brown. Mrs Croft and some of the kids picked the corn and then we had to pull all the leaves off. When we have done that it will be time to cook the corn by boiling it in a big pot. This week we have enjoyed learning more about Magnets. We have started to write our creative, narrative stories. We have also been learning about what is important to incorporate when presenting Plays during Reading. Our collaborative and cooperative working skills were certainly useful!
