Inset your own photos and create a bunch of different backgrounds. Print your creations on different paper for different looks. This started as a photo of an iris from my garden. Monday, April 21, 2008. Portfolio Oil Pastel Tutorial Step 1. Okay, as promised here is my post on how I do my backgrounds using Portfolio Series Oil Pastels. They are so great to use. Friday, March 7, 2008. It is a good day to alter something! I am so glad to finally be here. So let me tell you a bit about me and how I got here. I probably took the long way here, but now that I am here; OH MY! Why did it take so long? Prior to being a paper crafter, I was a full time non-tenured professor at a Historically Black College in Nashville, TN. By training, I am an epidemiologist. As my dad would say, I count dead people for a living. I have degrees from Harvard, MIT, and Rutgers.

I began with a kraft. With a pencil, I freehanded. I used a wing mold I had and Sculpey. Thanks for the challenge Clara! .
