The base is pretty big and includes a reservation which takes up about 13 of the base. I managed to get a 30 mile loop that was all pretty flat and well paved. Best riding Ive seen on a base so far and definately a vast improvement over what is off base. The start of the back road. Heading into the Barksdale reservation. Dirt roads got me again!

We rode to the base of lemon then he showed me a route to ride to the national park here which has a great route for getting used to hills. I suppose my goal for cycling right now is simply to get good enough to ride in group rides like Rob does.
