View my complete profile. Monday, October 30, 2006. In December of 1986, my mother Rita turned 70. My sisters and I wanted to give her something precious for her birthday so we decided to create a memory book. My mom was a great one for telling stories about her youth. On this blog I will try to duplicate my moms book which we named Precious Memories, along with adding my own memories. Sunday, May 31, 2009. So our journey to Understanding Comics. By McCloud has come to an end. I must admit that initially it took me a while to get into the comic but comics have grown on me from this exercise. I have learnt about the fundamentals to comic books, how they show time and space as well as they history of comics through time.
