In 2 days the Utility room has gone from bare walls to plaster board walls. Friday, 10 July 2009. Wednesday, 8 July 2009. The shape of the room is there but the front door and window are boarded up at the moment.
Thursday and Friday week 19. Tuesday, 21 July 2009. The living room ceiling is covered with insulation now ready for masses of plasterboard. There was only supposed to be Nigel on this job today but as it was too rainy for the rest of the crew to do the bricklaying they were going to do elsewhere they were all here and so LOADS was done today. Friday, 10 July 2009.
Garage, Demolition, Foundations, Walls and all things external. Monday, 13 July 2009. Roof tiles and Velux windows on the lower roof have now been done. Thursday, 9 July 2009. Someone has come to render the outside of the house. Matt and Tom have a tea break. Wednesday, 1 July 2009. The felting for the roof downstairs has gone on now. Wednesday, 24 June 2009. Tuesday, 23 June 2009.

We have the novelty of water in our kitchen, yes running water in the kitchen! This means that the kitchen is pretty much complete until we get the whole thing done with new units, flooring and work surfaces etc but that wont happen till the extension is finished. End of the day! .
