Thinking about books, e-books, and content. Right now, I am sitting at My Metro. I had a bit of career counseling that was helpful. Part of the membership includes the ability to get access to computers in two hour blocks of time. Metro New York Library Council offers quite a few professional development courses and opportunities as well as networking opportunities. I am thinking a little bit about how the Encyclopedia Britannica is now available only as an online edition.
As a librarian, I am often asked by patrons for reading recommendations. The funny thing is, when they ask, my mind goes blank. I cannot, for the life of me, recall any of the wonderful titles I have read. I am hoping this blog will serve as a memory keeper. Perhaps others will find my recollections helpful as well.
