Friday, January 3, 2014. I love January - the holidays are over and you have some time to organize and change out your home for a few more grey months in the PNW! So our display today went with rusty barn siding, cows, red oilcloth and primroses. So go on over to our Repent Antiques blog to see the whole display. Or better yet get into Monticello Antiques in Portland to see all the cows. Oh, the primroses smell pretty darn good too. Monday, December 2, 2013.

Friday, May 27, 2011. The soil finisher prepares the ground for corn planting. It has disc blades, shovels and a harrow on it. Corn is fussy and needs a good seed bed! I was able to do 90 percent of the soybean planting this year. It was good practice for me! They look pretty good. I also ran the soil finisher. I was able to do 90. We have been busy scouting the fields for weeds, stand, and cutworms. Generally see some cutworms each year however the neighbors had quite a few! Tuesday, January 11, 2011.
