Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Texans Voice Their Opinion on the War in Afghanistan. On December 1st, KVUE reported on the effect of the war in Afghanistan to the communities of Killeen and Ft. The views on sending more troops are quite divided. This is not a war many feel we should be fighting. The war in Afghanistan is nothing short of controversial considering our country is bankrupt while we are looking at billions upon billions .

Saturday, November 7, 2009. Madison is Rolling in His Grave. It is written in the Rules and Precedents of the Texas House. Representative are voted into and out of office based on several factors, and one of the big ones is their voting record. In my district John Somebody is up for reelection, but I cannot accurately decide if I want to vote for him because Joe Otherguy has more than likely illegally voted in his stead. Friday, December 11, 2009. This is in response to Political Carousels story. I believe that there should be an ordinance against panhandling. I find it quite annoying that I also have to roll up my window and stare past the person to avoid eye contact of the panhandler. This is more than some people make with an assosiates degree!
